Graduate qualifications:
The first-cycle studies in Applied Computer Science enable students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to independently solve problems in the field of design, implementation and operation of intelligent devices used in areas such as smart buildings and cities, the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems or wearable electronics. This is a combination of analogue and digital circuits, devices and electronic and microprocessor systems with data processing, analysis and transmission techniques, programming languages and artificial intelligence methods. Graduates also have general preparation in mathematics and physics, economic and humanistic subjects, a foreign language and general IT education.
A graduate can work in any company involved in the design, implementation, programming and testing of industrial and home automation devices, mobile and embedded systems or the Internet of Things, performing professions such as:  embedded systems programmer, FPGA programmer, PLC programmer, automation engineer, data analysis specialist, industrial process engineer, IT support specialist, control systems designer.
The graduate is also prepared to undertake second-cycle studies and specialist training. 


Career prospects:
A graduate of Applied Computer Science is prepared, among other things, to independently solve problems in the design, implementation and operation of intelligent devices used in areas such as smart buildings and cities, the Internet of Things, embedded systems or wearable electronics. This is a combination of analogue and digital circuits, devices and electronic and microprocessor systems with data processing, analysis and transmission techniques, programming languages and artificial intelligence methods. After graduation, graduates can be employed in design companies in the field of automation and embedded systems, in companies producing home automation or IoT devices, as specialists in the operation of home and industrial automation devices, as specialists in the implementation of smart devices, as programmers of automation and IoT systems.


Recruitment subjects:
Secondary school leaving exam preferred subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Computer Science.

  • Complete the required application data
  • Upload the required documents
  • Submit the original documents (after qualifying for studies)

Required documents:

  • secondary school leaving certificate;
  • translation of a certificate - issued in a language other than English, into Polish or English;
  • apostille or legalization of the certificate (depending on the country of issue of the certificate) - if the certificate was issued by a country that is a signatory of the Hague Convention abolishing the requirement for legalization of foreign official documents, you should apply for an apostille clause on the document, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or an equivalent office in the country of issue of the certificate; in other cases, the certificate should be legalized,
  • a document confirming the entitlement to undertake higher education in the country of issue of the certificate (if it is not clearly indicated on the certificate - please contact the educational authorities in the country of issue of the certificate) a document proving knowledge of English at the level of at least B2 - due to the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on types of documents certifying proficiency in the language in which studies are conducted of 30 July 2025, the list of English language certificates and diplomas we may accept as the confirmation of proficiency in English for admission purposes: https://dziennikustaw.gov.pl/D2025000104501.pdf
  • decision of the Education Superintendent or written information from the NAWA. Director about the certificate, confirming the right to apply for admission to studies - is not required in the case of certificates from EU, EFTA or OECD member states and certificates covered by international agreements on the recognition of education; more information: https://nawa.gov.pl/
