Dziekan naszego Wydział otrzymał wiadomość z gratulacjami od Dziekana Wydziału Inżynierii Lądowej z Politechniki Praskiej (Czechy), o następującej treści:

Esteemed colleague,

I would like to sincerely congratulate your faculty’s students on their outstanding performance in the international “Hall of the Year Academic” competition.

This competition has a long-standing tradition at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague - we have been organizing it for 40 years. The task for the competing teams is to design and build a structural model capable of safely bearing a load. On the day of the competition finals, the models are subjected to a load test in which the model is loaded until it collapses. A total of 77 teams competed this year.

The Koszalin University of Technology team, comprised of Piotr Połczyński, Maciej Janczewski, and Grzegorz Rudnik, finished in 4th place with a model weighing 933.7 g. The model withstood a load of 86,943.0 g, with an efficiency of 92.87.
