Danuta Zawadzka, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof.Rector of the Koszalin University of Technology for the 2020-2024 and 2024-2028 terms and vice-chair of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities for the 2024-2028 term. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Committee on Finance Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She heads the Department of Finance in the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Koszalin University of Technology, specializing in corporate finance. During the 2020-2024 term, she was involved in several committees, including the KRASP Committee on Science, the KRASP Committee on Accreditation and Rankings, and served as the Chair of the KRPUT Committee on Education. From 2012 to 2020, she was the Vice-Rector for Education at the Koszalin University of Technology and served on the Accreditation Commission for Technical Universities from 2012 to 2016. She has completed internships at the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (Universidade Técnica de Lisboa) in Portugal, the University of Liege in Belgium, and Coventry Technical College in the UK. She has received scholarships from the French Community of Belgium and participated in programs such as Tempus, Socrates - Erasmus, LLP-Erasmus, and CEEPUS. Danuta Zawadzka is a member of the Presidium of the Consortium "Science for the Sea" and actively participates in the council of the Doctoral School of the University of Messina. She also sits on the Council of the Center for Cooperation of University Councils at the Polish Academic and Economic Forum. Additionally, she is involved in the European University EU4Dual, which includes nine universities from the EU, including the Koszalin University of Technology. |

Błażej Bałasz, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof.Vice-Rector for Science and Local Leader of WP5. Holds a doctorate in technical sciences and is a professor at Koszalin University of Technology in the Department of Technical and Information Systems Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests revolve around Industry 4.0, particularly the use of big data for machine and equipment diagnostics and industrial process modeling and simulation, and process design. |
